|Project Title:||Cefn Mawr Football Stadium|
|Project Size:||2322 sqm Food Store and Football Stadium|
|The Client:||Cefn Druids Football Club|
Pickstock Construction successfully relocated Cefn Druids Football Club from its existing town centre site to a new and improved facility on the outskirts of the town, making way for a re-generation opportunity on the land of their former facility in the town. The football club worked closely with The Pickstock Group in the design of the new stadium to ensure that all of their needs were met.
The town centre re-development of a 25,000 sq ft (Net Sales) Tesco store was the economic generator that re-located the Cefn Druids Football Club to their new purpose built and fully compliant Football Stadium. The planning application for the town centre site and the re-location sites was put before a committee in February 2009.
To ensure the re-generation project was a success close partnerships were formed with the Community Council, County Council and regional Government in addition to liaising with national and local politicians
