Pickstock Construction is constructing a 21 and 9 storey residential tower in Croydon for client Pocket Living, the fastest growing affordable housing developer in the UK.
The development is a modular building which will consist of 323 room modules to make up 112 one bed apartments, 41 two bed and two three bed apartments. Elements Europe manufactured all of the modules for the scheme including steels for the rooftop amenity area.
Modular specialists Pickstock Construction has managed the design and construction of the whole building including the install of modules alongside the team at Elements Europe.
The modular building has been designed by award-winning architects Metropolitan Workshop and has three landscaped external gardens, each situated on a different floor with views across Croydon. Other amenities include bike storage with a bike workshop area and a residential lounge.
Pocket Living will be given access to marketing apartments so that they can start selling the apartments prior to the buildings completion.
