Pickstock Construction has developed land at Park Hall, Oswestry for an affordable housing scheme working in collaboration with Meres & Mosses Housing Association, part of Shropshire Housing Group. The group provides quality homes, with affordable rent and currently owns and manages over 4,500 homes in and around Shropshire and Herefordshire.
The site comprises of 18 properties of two and three bed semi-detached and two bed bungalows specifications. 14 of the homes will be let with affordable rent by Meres & Mosses Housing Association and four homes will be available to buy on a shared ownership basis.
Pickstock Construction achieved excellent scores from the Considerate Constructors Scheme for this site. With top marks in site appearance, respecting the community, protecting the environment, safety and caring for the workforce.
Each house has been built to the Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4, therefore each benefit from solar PV panels, water butts and garden sheds as well as being highly insulated.
This development has been funded by the Department for Communities and Local Government.
